It’s Finally Over
The holiday’s are coming to an end. Now all we need is New Year’s and than not another Holiday until Easter…or if you live in New Orleans than it’s Mardi Gras. I’ve just been so busy writing and taking pictures. I actually ended up getting a new lense for my camera which I am sooooo excited about! It’s a 55-250mm and I got it because it has the Image Stabilizer. It’s a big help because I don’t have to do as much it’s pretty much all automatic, but the pictures come out so amazing. I also went ahead and bought some lense filters. It really does improve the way my photograph’s look, but nothing too spectacular. That’s the nicest Christmas gift I think I recieved. Other than that I got some cash, a gift card, and some clothes. The typical stuff
I also went ahead and changed up my layout since Christmas is over and I was getting really annoyed with my layout. That tends to happen a lot. I promise this coming New Year I will write more because I know I have been slacking off, but I will I promise! See you all soon and I hope you all had a nice holiday!

Snow In New Orleans!
Snow In New Orleans!, originally uploaded by The Epileptic.
You heard right. It snowed today! I am probably just as baffled as you are, but than again I didn live in Jersey City, NJ for about 17 and a half years of my life so snow is no big deal to me. My grandparents however were all excited. Snow to them is like a huge deal, but I was confused by one thing. Why are people walking out in the snow with umbrellas? No offense, but no umbrella is going to protect you from that, but my friend gave me some insight into why, they simply don’t get enough snow to even know what to do when it happens. LoL! All the kids at school were flipping out and the girls were all complaining about having to walk across campus in the snow, but luckily they sent us all home on a Snow Day. So it’s safe to say I am getting a tiny taste of my former home, which I do miss tremendously so it was nice to be able to reminisce even for a little.

Thanksgiving and Story Writing
I know I haven’t been around much. I hope everyone in the U.S. had a nice Thanksgiving. We did the usual turkey dinner and all that rubbish. I haven’t really been around because I have been throwing myself into writing my fiction story called Kindle. I have gotten sooooo immersed in writing it that I haven’t really spent any time doing anything else. It definitely is a great stress reliever and I have always been one that I have so many thoughts running through my head, but I never seem to get them down on paper. This time though I am making sure I get this story out as it is really good, to me at least. So anyone who is interested in reading a semi decent fiction story should check me out on FictionPress.com

Twilight
Sucked badly! I saw it last night with my cousins, who by the way read the books, and even they said it was awful. It was just too awkward with Bella and Edward and no offense to all the Edward fans but he was not cast well at all. The guy who played him was horrible! We were talking about him the other day and concluded that he always looks drunk. So that being said we decided if Stephanie Meyer did write another book it should be named “Edward the Alchy”. Just an awful movie all around they probably could have done better and if you haven’t seen it yet don’t bother. Of course all the little teen girls thought it was amazing, but once they get a little older they’ll realize what crap it actually is.

I Need A Vacation
2 more days and than I will be in Houston hanging out with people close to my own age. Thank you God! I also just got some illegal entertainment for the ride there, but we don’t need to discuss it. Let’s just say I really like it and I think they did great. Have fun figuring it out. Short update as I am trying to pack because I haven’t yet and mysteriously all my skinny jeans have disappeared. The evil grandma strikes again!

Cow Burping?
I found something to write about thanks to someone mentioning global warming today. I am just soooo tired of hearing about global warming. I mean yes it is happening, but there is just sooooo much information being left out. I feel like they’re putting it all on us humans like we’re the only people at fault for all ice melting. What about the things that aren’t human though? What about…cow burps? Yes cow burps, farts, and poop let off more methane gas than we humans do. Interesting fact right? So how do we fix this problem then? Some have actually started to give their cows “Burpless Grass”, which someone had to much time on their hands, but my main thing is I am tired of it all being shoved on humans. Animals let out all kinds of gases, but no one seems to ever mention that. It’s always Susie homemaker going down the road in her big ole’ SUV spewing all her dangerous emissions into the air. I’d rather spew emissions with my big ole SUV (which is a hybrid by the way so don’t say I’m not doing anything to try to help our environment) than be sniffing a nose full of methane gas from some cows butt. You feel me? So what are you going to do about it? Kill all the cows in the world? Ha ha good luck.

I Went An Entire Day Without Posting!
That is quite an accomplishment on my part, but I had good reasoning behind it. Being that my right hand is now bandaged with gauze, medical tape, scotch tape on top of that (to hold it all together you know what I mean?) and band aids to hold that together, it’s safe to say my right hand is completely unusable. I kind of wish the burn had been in a better place like on the top of my hand, band aids go easily on that area, but no I had to burn my bumpy knuckle that band-aids give a big “Fuck you!” to. It’s o.k. though because it is starting to look a lot better and the blister is healing up just fine. For the record…toaster ovens will always win the fight and next time I will be a lot more careful. That’s about all the news I have for now aside from the fact that today is PAYDAY (SWEET!) and I finally get my new camera. I’m a gadget freak if you haven’t guessed by now so I’m sure I’ll be stalking my family for the next few days making videos and getting them to take cool awesome pictures.

I Fought The Toaster Oven
…and the toaster oven won
I was cooking chicken just kind of reheating it and just as I was putting it in the top of my hand hit the roof of the toaster. Ouch. At first I looked at it FYI this may gross some people out so if you have a weak stomach don’t read this partand I swear it looked like nothing I had seen. It was like brown and yellow looking so me being the idiot I am thought it was just stuck on food ripped off the top of the oven when I hit my hand. I even asked for a second opinion from my grandpa and he said the same thing. Of course with reassurance from my g-paw I started to peel it off and to my shock and amazement…it was skin! Now its just really red and it looks absolutely awful! I would much prefer it looking like caked on food than the nice red fleshy wound it looks like now. So it’s official…Toaster Oven: 1 Victor: 0

What is up with California?
Anyone else read about how they voted in favor of a Gay Marriage Ban? I personally always say to each their own, but this state cannot seem to make up their damn minds. I’m kind of wondering what is going to happen to all those LEGAL marriages performed before this marriage ban was implemented. I mean obviously now these unions are not technically considered legal by any form of the word, but can you really just go up to someone and say “Hey yeah you can’t be married anymore sorry.” What a weird state. I have always thought California to be a little on the odd side, but this time they have just thrown themselves off the deep end. It’s all those religious fanatics out there voting, which I can understand, but I also feel like many people don’t understand my religion’s stand on being gay in general. A lot of people think that we as Catholics believe if you’re gay you go straight to Hell. SO NOT THE CASE! I am one that I like to educate myself so I have actually looked through the Cathecism, which is all the rules and teachings of the church, the consequences, what type of sin it is and blah blah blah. You would be shocked to know that in the Catholic Cathecism it states that it is NOT a sin to be homosexual. Interesting right? It states that the sin is actually commited if one choses to participate in homosexual acts, which I don’t think I need to go into detail about these. They’re called to live a chaste life, which yeah as human beings with raging sexual hormones that isn’t likely to happen, but you know same rule goes for pre-martial sex in a sense, which yeah kind of too late for me on that one, but I was 14 and stuff happens when you’re in the midst of becoming a man. I don’t know how I even got onto the topic of my sexual happenings so lets just end this entry here before I reveal more than I want too
